Earth Basket Foods is a Kenyan fresh produce export company. Fresh herbs are our flagship line: chives, rosemary, thyme, basil, coriander and mint, cut and cooled the same day and flown to buyers around the world, with established routes into the United Kingdom, Europe and the Gulf. Alongside herbs we export Hass avocado and a selected range of Kenyan fruit, vegetables and nuts. We work with farms in Kenya's most fertile growing regions and manage the whole supply chain, from harvest through to delivery at your warehouse, with full traceability, disciplined residue control and reliable supply year-round.

Kenya's highland climate gives clean, aromatic growth all year and fills the gap from October to April, when northern-hemisphere field herbs stop. Flown out of Nairobi so the product reaches your warehouse with its colour, aroma and shelf life intact.

Herbs are a high-risk category for maximum residue level breaches at the border, and it is where new suppliers most often fail. We manage residues where they start: approved input lists on partner farms, spray records tied to every consignment, and laboratory testing before anything ships.
We source from Kenya's most productive growing regions: the cool central highlands where our herbs are cut, the Rift Valley, and the coastal lowlands. We select the best farms for each line to keep quality and supply consistent.

Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service, the mandatory Kenyan authority ensuring all exported plant products meet phytosanitary requirements for international trade.
Ethical trade certification increasingly required by international buyers, covering labour standards, health and safety, environment and business ethics. We are working towards SEDEX membership across our supply chain.
Every consignment will carry an official phytosanitary certificate and MRL (Maximum Residue Level) test results, meeting EU Regulation 396/2005, UK retained law and the equivalent limits in other import markets. Residue testing runs before shipment, not after arrival.
